About Dragverse
The Dragverse is a web app where fans can connect with others, post, mirror, and collect posts from drag creators and others in the community.
Those who apply to become creators can live-stream their art and mint these videos as collectibles that their communities can collect for free, auctioned items, or at a set price. All thanks to recent blockchain technologies and protocols like Lense and Livepeer.
Drag fans can also tip their favourite creators or super-follow them! Whether you are a drag performer or someone who wants to experience drag through their avatar and wearables, the Dragverse is where we all come together to celebrate the art of drag!
At the beginning of Jan 2022, 5 strangers met up for a weekend at the EthGlobal NFThack hackathon, where we, a drag queen, convince four builders to create the metaverse drag together.
We ended up winning 🥇 1st prize for "Best Community Tools Hack" from Zora. This fantastic opportunity led us to collaborate and get support and guidance from the Livepeer team.

IRL drag Creators
Drag creators that love to show off! Not only at their local bar, but also online to their communities. They enjoy livestreaming, getting some extra tips, and they believe in the potential of the blockchain technologies.

Social layer
This is the network base for the dragverse! Users can connect with other drag fans and creators - you can collect, post, comment, and mirror posts!
Streaming layer
Let creators live-stream their art for their community - wig styling, make-up tutorials, you name it! These videos then can be minted as NFT for users to collect.
Monetization layer
Users can tip their favourite creator with MATIC and subscribe to join their house for unique content and collectibles. Dragverse is just the vessel for relationship.
Metaverse identity
Users can create their Drag Skin (3D Avatar) that they can drag up with wearables (wigs, clothes, shoes, accessories, etc.) These looks can become posts to collect, and that's just the beginning!
